David Wentworth Obituary
It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we bid farewell to a man of unwavering strength, stoicism, dignity, and grace. David A. Wentworth. Born September 3, 1959. David passed peacefully from a difficult and courageous battle with cancer at home with his wife on March 22, 2024. He was 64 years old.
A pillar of resilience and fortitude, David shared a lifelong bond with his beloved wife Bernadette Wentworth, whom he married on a summer day on June 28, 1981. 42 beautiful years of marriage. They met at Pratt + Whitney in 1979 when they were both young adults and quickly formed a deep and unwavering bond. He was a dedicated and loving husband, always putting his family first. 10 years after they were married they renewed their vows after buying the home where they would raise their children.
For over three decades, David stood as a beacon of excellence and integrity at Alpha Q, where he held the position of Chief Inspector. His meticulous eye for detail, dedication, and unmatched expertise rendered him an indispensable cornerstone of the company earning him respect and admiration of all who worked with him.
Above all, David's greatest joy came from providing his family with the American dream. He worked tirelessly to ensure that his loved ones had everything they needed and more. A devoted Father to Breanna Wentworth, 40 and Brian Wentworth 37. David's fatherly love knew no bounds. He guided and nurtured his children with a firm yet gentle hand, imparting upon them the values of work ethic, integrity, and compassion. His unwavering love and support created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished moments.
David had a passion for life and enjoyed things to the fullest. He loved riding motorcycles on long adventures with his wife, Skiing with his son, and boating with his dad. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were contagious, inspiring those around him to embrace new experiences and live life to the fullest. He relished in playing guitar which he was incredible at as well as his newfound love for piano. He was a foodie who knew where to get the best of all his favorite foods. He enjoyed cooking, making bread, and making beef jerky. He was an eagle scout who took the lessons of preparedness to heart in his everyday life. When he did something it was to the most thorough extent. There was pride in everything he did.
David Wentworth will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and resilience that will continue to inspire all who knew him. In addition to his wife and children, David is survived by his sister Donna Wabble, his daughter in law Lizeth Wentworth, and their children Roman and Sebastian, as well as his son in law Matthew Maynard, and their children Ryker, Cailyn, and Royal. He was predeceased by his parents Audrey and Royal Wentworth.

I worked with Dave at Alpha Q, and he was a great guy. Very knowledgeable and firm in his beliefs, with a very good sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all.
