David Lee Westfall

David Lee Westfall, 74, of Maryland Heights, MO, formerly of Troy, MO, passed away on June 23, 2024 at Evelyn's House Hospice in Chesterfield, MO. He was born on December 4, 1949 to James and Wilda Elnora (Sharp) Westfall. David grew up attending the local schools with his siblings. After he graduated from high school, he went on to work at the Grand Canyon. While he was at the Grand Canyon, David worked as a cashier and in the gas station. He loved the people and the beautiful scenery, he was very happy while he was there. David loved trains, watching TV and word puzzles. David is described by his family as, "Outgoing, talkative, friendly and helpful." He was very mechanical and could fix anything. David loved the staff and residents at Stonebridge in Maryland Heights, MO, they took very good care of him. He and his sister Nancy were very close and they spoke on the phone, at least three times per day. David will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy and husband John Petrusek of Aiken, S.C., brothers, A.J. Westfall of Phoenix, AZ, Kim and wife Joyce Westfall of Gilbert, AZ, Michael Westfall and husband Michael West of MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
