David W. Williams, age 69, passed away October 7th, 2025. David was born in Akron, January 26, 1956, and lived in the area all his life. He was the son of the late Frank and Loma (Sadler) Williams.
David was a graduate of North High School and was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed listening to music and painting a “Bob Ross” inspired landscape when he was feeling creative. A favorite past-time for David was shooting pool with his brothers and late nephew on Sundays.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his siblings: Gloria Jackson, Marcia Ritter, and Rocky Williams; brothers in-law: George Lough and Jerry Bond; nephew, Brian Williams; and a niece, April Maze. He is survived by his children: Christine (Karl Lewis) Williams, and Gary (Allison) Williams: siblings: Frank (Bonnie) Williams, Debbie Lough, Sherry Bond, Ron Williams, Don Williams, Bob (Manuel Gastelum) Williams, and Mark Williams; brother in-law, Bob Ritter; sister in-law, Gina Williams; grandchildren: Cameron Williams and Parker Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service honoring David’s life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 18 at The Billow’s Funeral Home & Crematory FAIRLAWN chapel, 85 North Miller Road, Fairlawn. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM.
