In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and snowmobling. Husband for 33 years of Clementina "Tina" nee Carta. Father of David (Julie) Zambon. Son of the late Edith Laura nee Dal Santo and Joseph S. Zambon. Brother of Catherine (Stanley) Kowalski, John (late Gloria) Zambon and the late Joseph (Madeline) Zambon. Brother in-law of Judith (Charlie Greenwood) Carta and the late Larry Carta. "Dearest Dave" of Serena and Lara Varella. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Sunday August 20, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Monday August 21, 2023, 9:15 am from funeral home to Our Lady of the Heights/St Kieran Church, 724 W 195th Street, Chicago Heights. Mass 10:00 am. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood.
