Dawn Kristine Geissinger, who resided near Lavaca, Arkansas, died Monday, April 8, 2024, near Waldron, Arkansas, from a motorcycle accident. She was born on July 6, 2004, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, to Earl Landes Geissinger and Wendy Jo (Moyer) Geissinger. She was 19 years old. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Isaac and Edna Geissinger, and her maternal grandmother, Kathy Moyer.
Dawn was a hostess at Texas Roadhouse in Fort Smith and faithfully attended First Southern Baptist Church in Central City.
She is survived by her parents, Earl and Wendy Geissinger of Lavaca; five sisters, Alisha Berger and husband Wade of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Divini Graybeal and husband Zach of Spiro, Oklahoma, Katie Geissinger, Virginia Geissinger, and Joy Geissinger, all of home; eight brothers, Andrew Geissinger and wife Leah of Annville, Pennsylvania, Nathan Geissinger and wife Tori of Shepherd, Texas, Aaron Geissinger and wife Haley of Charleston; Justin Geissinger, Austin Geissinger, Jordan Geissinger, Timothy Geissinger and Christopher Geissinger, all of the home; her maternal grandfather, Earl Moyer of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania; and (16) nieces and nephews.
There will be a private family service on Saturday, April 13th. Burial will be at Hickory Ridge Cemetery, located northeast of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
Serving as pallbearers will be her eight brothers.
A "Celebration of Life" with family and friends to attend will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14th at Enterprise Freewill Baptist, 5211 Hwy 252 North, Lavaca, AR 72941.
