Dean Teuscher, age 88, of Janesville, WI, passed away on August 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 1, 1936 in South Wayne, WI, to Jacob and Erma Teuscher.
Dean was never happier than when he was helping others. Whether it was scooping a big bowl of ice cream for his grandkids, building custom storage shelves, cheering on his kids’ and grandkids’ sports teams, or generously sharing his homegrown tomatoes, he delighted in simple acts of kindness. He will be fondly remembered for his warm heart, strong hands, and quiet generosity.
Dean dedicated many years of hard work to his cleaning business, Captain Clean, earning the respect of clients and the community. He was also a faithful and active member of Cargill United Methodist Church.
Dean is survived by his devoted wife, Betty; his children, Dan (Jill), Scott (Diane), Wayne (Laurel), Lori, and Sue (Fred); his ten grandchildren—Brett, Zach, Emily, Abby, Tyler, Ryan, Connor, Megan, Sarah, and Jake; and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children (Joan), his parents, and his daughter-in-law, Tina.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:30 at CARGILL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2000 Wesley Avenue Janesville. A visitation will be held at the CHURCH from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. August 14th. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Cargill Methodist Church or the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin in Dean Teuscher’s memory.
Dean will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love and service lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
