Deborah L. "Debi" Johnson

Deborah "Debi" Jackson Johnson, 73, of Erie passed away on Tuesday April 4, 2023, after a courageous fight with Leukemia. She was born on December 27, 1949, a daughter of the late George "Bud" E. and Jeanne A. Smith Jackson.
Debi graduated from McDowell High School in 1967 and went on to beautician school. She loved swimming, dirt track racing, all animals, and was a wonderful piano player.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Natalie Geiger and Tricia McAndrew.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Garcia (Jose), of Erie; her son, Terry Johnson, of Erie; her sisters, Gloria Wisinski (Tony), of Lake City, and Wendie Jackson, of Erie; her stepbrother, Dale Albert (Mary Lou), of Albion; her grandchildren, Chase, and Ella Geiger; her special friend and the love of her life, Ronald Schultz, of Waterford; her best friend of 66 years, Bonnie Oleson; and her furry friends, Bentley, and Stella.
A special thank you to Dr. Jan Rothman and many of her dear friends for the love and support they have given Debi throughout the years.
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday morning at 11:00 am at Belle Valley Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home, Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504.
