In Loving Memory of Mrs. Deborah Ann Palmer
Mrs. Deborah Ann Palmer, age 65, peacefully passed away in her sleep at her home on Tuesday morning, March 4.
Born on October 20, 1959, in Dallas County, Deborah was the beloved daughter of Bill and Ann Roberts. She dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, taking great pride in creating a warm, Christian home for her family.
Deborah was also passionate about serving her community. She joyfully took on the responsibility of managing a girls' softball team, which included girls from her church and the surrounding neighborhood. She especially cherished working with young girls, coaching those aged 5 to 12 in both league play and tournaments. Her kindness, guidance, and dedication left a lasting impact on the many girls she mentored.
A devoted grandmother, Deborah found immense joy in caring for her three grandchildren, sharing her love and wisdom with them for many years. Her presence in their lives will forever be cherished.
Deborah leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth Palmer; her son, Matthew Palmer; and her daughter, Amanda Goodson. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren: Addison, Mason, and Hudson Goodson, Leah, Jordan, and Mikayla Palmer. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Derek Goodson; daughter-in-law, Tracy Palmer; half-sister, Tawana Judkins; nieces, Ashley Judkins and Erica Clubb (husband, Xavier Clubb); nephews, Billy Wright and Bryan Wright; and brother-in-law, Kevin Wright.
Deborah's family and friends will always remember her for her selfless love, her unwavering faith, and her enduring dedication to her loved ones. She touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed.
Visitation Will be held at Colonial Funeral Home Thursday March 20, 2025 5:00-8:00pm. The Funeral will be Friday March 21, 2025 at 11:00am
