Deborah Ann Williams, age 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
Born on May 6, 1958, Deborah was the cherished daughter of Mary Williams-Bedford and Roosevelt Reid Jr.
Deborah loved God. In the 1980's she gave her life to Christ and was baptized. She attended services at the Refreshing Place Church in her latter years. Deborah attended and graduated from Start High School and later followed her passion for beauty by enrolling in cosmetology school. Throughout her life, Deborah worked in a variety of roles, including with the United States Postal Service and CSX Railroad. She was known for her vibrant personality, loving heart, and adventurous spirit. Deborah found joy in fishing, traveling, visiting casinos, and playing the lottery.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memory her beloved only son, Darron Hughes, and her grandchildren: Taniya Hughes, Breon Sutton, Darron Hughes Jr., and Darronna Hughes. She is also survived by her siblings; Roosevelt Reid III, Sedalia Williams, Darlene Bedford, and Thomas Williams; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Roosevelt; her brother, Jock Williams; and her sister, Rose Davis.
