Debra Alfred Obituary
A visitation will take place at Our Savior's Church - Broussard Campus on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service.
Pastor Gabe Smith will officiate at the service.
Debra was born on September 28, 1960, in Lafayette. Debra led a life filled with simple joys and cherished moments. Her love for playing Bingo, going to the casino, playing cards, and watching westerns brought light and laughter to those around her. However, above all else, Debra's greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Whether gathered around the dinner table or sharing stories on the front porch, she treasured every moment spent with her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughters, Ardenna (Tyrone) Jacobs and Shayla (Phillip) Alfred; grandchild, Alayah Jacobs; brother, Christopher (Paulette) Jacobs; and her sisters, Charlotte Ann Jacobs and Lillian Marie Jacobs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hoover and Cora Berard Jacobs; and her brothers, Charles Butler and Hoover Jacobs, Jr..
Pellerin Funeral Home (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
