She was born in Sylvania, GA on December 12, 1963, daughter of Ivy Ree (Kirkland) Hunter of Sylvania, GA.
Debra found wonder in the world around her and joy in every day. She loved being outdoors taking long leisurely walks and gardening.
We have been blessed with the presence of Debra in our lives. She will be deeply missed by her companion of many years: Ezikel Gaddy of Stroudsburg, PA, her mother: Ivy Ree (Kirkland) Hunter and her spouse Joe of Sylvania, GA, her daughters; Latoya Lambert and spouse Wolph of Stroudsburg, PA, Tyleema Kirkland and fiancée Thomas Shell of Philipsburg, NJ and Destiny Denny of East Stroudsburg, PA.
She was the loving grandmother to: Anay'Jah, Na'Cyah, Kai'Lani, Wyatt, Ty'Son, Ty"Omi and India who lovingly called her grandma.
Debra is also survived by a sister: Janice Jones of North Carolina, a brother: Gregory Jones of New Jersey and many nieces and nephews.
Debra was preceded in death by a brother: Kelvin Jones and the father who raised her: Hazel Jones.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 10, 2026, at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, PA with Rev. Monica Guepet officiating.
Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Friday, April 10, 2026, from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
