Debra Ann Watts, 69, of Louisville passed peacefully on April 9, 2025 with family by her side.
She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She attended St. Vincent DePaul Catholic School, Ursuline Academy, and Ahrens High School.
Throughout the years, Debra worked for Byck's, Jewish Hospital, and Kindred Healthcare.
She married her high school sweetheart, Jim Watts, and they were happily married 47 years. Together, they raised three children: Ryan Watts (Melissa), Amanda Tu (Tom), and Emily Watts. Grandchildren include: Brooke and Samantha Watts; Emmy, Ally, and Julia Tu.
She is survived by her sister Arleen Wood (Chuck) and preceded in death by her parents Julia and Edward Slowinski.
Debra will be remembered for her selfless devotion to her family and friends, outgoing nature and sense of humor, and adventurous and competitive spirit.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 13th from 11-5pm at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane. A remembrance gathering and blessing will take place at 4pm.
Her family would like to share their great appreciation to Dr. Rebecca McFarland for her remarkable care over the years and to Debra's other Baptist Health caregivers.
