Delores "Dodie" Elaine Burdick Campbell, age 72 of Sweetwater, passed away, Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at her residence.
A native of New York and current resident of Sweetwater she was a daughter of the late Lawrence "Popsie" Bates, Sr. and Ruby Hubbard and was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Burdick, Sister, Beth Maine, Daughter-in-law, Kris Campbell and Son-in-law, David Thomas.
She was a former employee of Walmart having worked as the Customer Service Manager for 9 years and attended Beulah Chapel Church of the Nazarene. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors:
Husband of more than 55 years, Donald Campbell;
4 Children and spouses, Lewis (Terri) Campbell, April Thomas, Shannon Campbell, Ronnie (Angie) Campbell.
18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren
4 brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey (Kathy) Burdick, Doug (Gail) Burdick, Dana (Kim) Bates and Lawrence (Val) Bates.
Several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with Rev. John Porter officiating.
Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-2pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
