Deloris Elizabeth Reus, 91 of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 23, 2022, after a brief illness.
She was born on February 10, 1931, to Louie and Dora Whittington in Mobile, Alabama.
In 1951 Deloris met Marcellus (Buddy) Reus and they married January 19, 1952, going on to have two children, Faye and Mike.
Deloris loved to travel, whether it was fishing on the James River in Missouri, panning for gold in North Carolina, or going to Disney with her family in Florida. She also loved Alabama football....Roll Tide!
She was preceded in death by her husband Marcellus (Buddy) Reus, parents Louie and Dora Whittington, brother Marvin Whittington, two sisters Edith Minchew and Juanita Mullen.
Deloris is survived by her two children Faye (Paul) Tidwell, Mike (Retha) Reus, three granddaughters, Stephanie (Clay) Bradley, Amanda (Wade) Fail, Jessica Reus and seven great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Hannah Christopher, Bryce, Madelyne, Ethan and Bailey.
Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6100 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619 on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. with a graveside service following at 10:00 a.m.
