Dennis Richard Dasher

Dennis Richard Dasher was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on June 25, 1969.
"Denny" was always a free-spirited, fun-loving adventurer who loved the outdoors. Hunting and fishing with his friends and family aboard his boat, Mama's Boy, was his passion, as well as enjoying a day's ride to nowhere on his Harley. He loved the freedom of the open road and the sea.
Denny had a way of making people laugh and formed many lifelong friendships throughout his journey. His love of the water also became his career. He began working as a teenager on crabbing and fishing boats alongside local watermen. He later worked on scallop boats before spending many years on ocean-going tugboats. Eventually, he settled into a career as a rigger at the shipyard.
Surrounded by a loving family and many lifelong friends, Denny's memory-and that great big smile-will be cherished by all who knew him.
