Dennis L. Foreman, 79, of Chambersburg entered his heavenly home on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Mercy House surrounded by his family. Born May 26, 1945 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Donald and Florence Goshorn.
He is survived by his wife of almost 59 years, Anne (Lawrence) Foreman whom he married September 4, 1965. He is also survived by two daughters, Christine (Ron) Leighty and Jennifer (Jason) Martin; two granddaughters, Corinne Leighty and Kelsey Buterbaugh; four siblings, Ed (Elaine) Foreman, Darryl (Judy) Foreman, Robilee (Bill) Gordon, and Donilee (Bruce) Lehman; a brother-in-law, Joseph (Rebecca) Lawrence, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, a special family friends Megan (Denny) Messner and family, and Melissa Fochtman and her son.
Dennis was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Pittman; four brothers, Richard Foreman, Pat Barndollar, Ricky Crist and DJ Foreman; and his in-laws Joseph and Louise Lawrence.
Dennis worked for over 30 years at Grove Manufacturing. His favorite pastimes were playing the lottery and horse racing. He was a lifelong fan of Baltimore Orioles, and the Indianapolis Colts. His favorite player was Peyton Manning.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 2-5 PM at St. Thomas Edenville United Methodist Church, 360 Saint Thomas-Edenville Road, St Thomas, PA 17252. Arrangements are entrusted to SimpleChoice Cremation Services Inc. of Chambersburg.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dennis’s name to Mercy House of Chambersburg, 730 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
