Dennis Gary Palmer Jr., 54, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Mr. Palmer was born October 17, 1970, in Wake County, NC, to Dennis Gary Palmer Sr. and Gale Whitley Hill.
Dennis was a devoted and dependable member of his family. Known for his warm heart and quiet strength, he was especially cherished by his nieces and nephews, who loved spending time with him. Always willing to lend a hand, Dennis had a knack for solving technology issues and was the go-to tech expert for his family.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother; one brother, Charles Palmer (Holly); one sister, Tracy Hamilton (Paul); and four nieces and nephews, Mary Samuel Palmer, Molly Palmer, Jackson Hamilton, and Claire Hamilton.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will immediately follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, 3330 Shorefair Drivr NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
