Dennis Schmidt Obituary

He began his career as a chemist at Dow Chemical and worked in the oil and gas industry before becoming a commercial real estate appraiser. In 1980, Dennis completed his MBA at the University of Houston.
Dennis was an active member of Spring Baptist Church and enjoyed working alongside his brothers and sisters in Christ in many different ministries. Dennis also loved golf and during his retirement was a familiar face on the golf course. He took time to befriend and witness to all those he crossed on the cart path.
He is survived by his wife, Jan, daughters Sarah (Jeremy) and Jennifer (Marcos), granddaughter, Sophia, brother, Larry Schmidt (RuthAnn), and nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Carol Schmidt.
