Dennis David Yandow

On April 2, 2025, Dennis David Yandow, 79, passed peacefully in St. Albans, Vermont. He was a beloved papa, father, husband, and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Dennis was born on November 21, 1945, to Isadore and Jeanne Yandow in Hinesburg, VT. He and his thirteen siblings spent their childhoods on the Yandow farm. While attending Bellows Free Academy, he met the love of his life, Carolyn Rocheleau. They were high school sweethearts who got married on February 4, 1967, in St. Albans, Vermont.
Among his many jobs, Dennis was a farmer, a carpenter, a carpet store owner, and a sawmill operator. He loved building and sharing bird houses, and later in life he volunteered to drive people to doctor's appointments. His love of wood working and the outdoors spanned his entire life and if you couldn't find him inside, chances are he was in the woods behind his house doing what he loved.
Above all, Dennis was a devoted husband, father, and papa. He loved telling stories to his grandchildren and taking them for rides on his tractor. He made everyone smile with his lighthearted personality and funny remarks.
Dennis is predeceased by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn; his daughter, Selina and husband Ron; son, Anthony and wife Tracy; and his grandchildren, Noah, Lily, and Mace. Also, eleven siblings, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be set for a later date. Well wishes may be sent to the family home.
