Dennis "Denny" Frank Zbinden, 81, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on August 12, 2025, after a long illness. Born in Massillon, he spent most of his life in the area. Denny attended Jackson High School and dedicated much of his career to working as a car mechanic. He was also a self-made entrepreneur, taking on many other trades throughout his life.
Denny had a deep love for the outdoors-camping, boating, and spending time in nature with friends and family brought him great joy. He was also a devoted animal lover. Most of all, he was surrounded by the love of his family in his final days.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Isabelle, and his brother, Donny. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol; his children, Mike (Jenny) Zbinden and Samantha (Rodney) Fonte; and his cherished grandchildren, Brandi, Michael, Matthew, Emma, Dylan, Cala and great grandchild Ripley. He also leaves behind many other dear family members and friends, whose prayers and support have meant so much.
Denny will be deeply missed. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal funeral service will be held. A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date.
