On October 11, 1993, God delivered Deonte Louis Logan into this side of life. Deonte
was the beautiful son of Francine Logan Gay and Corey Commodore. Deonte
transitioned this life on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Deonte spent his early childhood playing basketball and other recreational sports. He
enjoyed being around people. He was an amazing father and son. Deonte was a
young man with gentle soul and a kind-heart. He was always willing to help anyone in
need. Deonte will be remembered most for his luminous smile. He had a smile that
would brighten any room he entered.
Deonte will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in
death by his late maternal grandmother, Betty Logan, paternal grandfather, Walter
Commodore, paternal great grandparents Berry and Christine Commodore, maternal
great grandparents Edward P and Mary Francis Logan. He leaves several family and
friends to cherish his memory including: two beautiful children, 10 year old Niylah Logan
and 4 year old Hassan Logan; his mother Francyne Gaye, Stepfather Wayne Gaye,
Father Corey Commodore, Grandfather Gayle Logan, sisters Amauria Commodore and
A'Nieja Russell, paternal grandparents Phyllis Jarrett (John Jarrett Sr), Special Uncle
John Jarrett Jr., Special Aunts: EuniceRogge " Aunt Nu" (Mark Rogge), and Aunt
Demetria " Meechie" Bright, Uncle Kendall (Staici) Logan,Special Cousins Joseph
Rogge, Jovias Jones, Cottrel Jones, Isaiah Jones, Terrisha McMillian, Bryce Hobbs;
and best friend Farah Badhi.
In his love for people. Deonte will live on through his heroic efforts as a registered organ
donor.
