WRIGHTSVILLE – Derek A. Grove, 42, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at his home.
Born December 28, 1982 in York, he was a son of Donald L. and Teresa K. (Franklin) Grove of Wrightsville.
Derek graduated from Dover Area High School in 2001.
He enjoyed hunting, boating, playing pool and was a Penn State football fan.
In addition to his parents, Derek is survived by his daughter, Makenna L. Grove of Wrightsville; brother, Joshua Grove and wife, Nicole of York; two nephews, Sebastian and Gavino Grove; and maternal grandmother, Sandra L. Franklin.
Services for Derek will be private. Burial will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens, Dover. Arrangements have been entrusted to Emig Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc. in Dover.

Don and Teresa words can´t say how bad I feel for your loss. This is something no parent should ever have to go through. Hopefully, the love and comfort of friends and family will carry you through your grief.

I work with Derek Grove and always liked him he was always laughing and enjoying the day if you would ask him to do something and if he could he would do it he is going to be sadly missed I'm sorry for your loss Grove family
