It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diana Louise Dodd, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on Sunday, August 3rd, 1969, in Marion, Ohio, Diana remained a lifelong resident of her hometown, where she touched many lives with her kindness and compassion.
Diana is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Corey (Kailey) Dodd and Alex (Katie) Dodd, who carry on her legacy with pride. Her cherished grandchildren, Wesley, Wyatt, Kayden, and Willow, will always hold dear the memories of their doting grandmother. Diana is also survived by her sister Rachel (Ulysses) Davis and her brothers Tim (Kori) Slob, Mike (Kecia) Slob, and Dana (Cheri) Slob, along with numerous nieces and nephews who affectionately called her "Aunt Di."
Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Kay Slob, Diana now joins them in eternal rest.
Diana dedicated her career to the care of others, working as a Nurse Aide with unwavering commitment. Her nurturing spirit and gentle touch comforted countless patients and their families, earning her the admiration and respect of her colleagues and all who knew her.
A devout Christian, Diana's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She possessed a big heart filled with an ornery spirit and an abiding love for God and her family. Her unwavering devotion to her loved ones was evident in everything she did.
Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Diana's remarkable life during the arrangements provided by Hope Family Church at 2 PM Saturday October 25 In this time of sorrow, let us remember and cherish the joy that Diana brought into our lives.
Though she has departed from this earthly realm, Diana Louise Dodd's legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire all those she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, carried gently into God's loving embrace
