My sister, Marjorie & I fondly remember Diane from our times spent from about ages 13 to age 18 in Rainbow Girls, in Mt. Vernon. I remember one summer decorating the Rainbow Girls float for the Sweetcorn & Watermelon Festival parade one year--we would work on it in her Grandpa & Grama's wrecker/towtruck garage near where the Mt. Vernon High School used to be.
Diane also served as a beautiful Worthy Advisor in Rainbow Girls one of those years, & during that time, we all enjoyed Rainbow Girls' Charity fund-raising activities, such as home-made Bake Sales in front of Rose Hiron's "Roses" clothing store on the Mt. Vernon square--& other fund-raising activities, such as dressing up like Santa's elves--to take pictures of kids with Santa one Christmas in Santa's small "house", also across from Rose's store.

I am very sad to hear of Diane's passing---
but, YES !! She DID have a strong Faith---& as in Rainbow Girls' teachings, Diane knew that, "...Faith Hope, & Charity--but the Greatest of these is Love"---she excelled in all of those in her Faith, especially in "Love".
My Prayers go out to Diane's Memory, & to her Family.....Yes, she very much touched us all while she was here on this Earth.
