Diego attended Frontier Academy through middle school and graduated from Greeley West High School.
Growing up, he was involved in multiple sports, football, baseball, and wrestling.
Once he entered Greeley West High School, he focused on football and wrestling.
He was Broncos and Rockies fan. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking or just relaxing with friends and family around a fire pit. He loved his mom's cooking.
He enjoyed a good BBQ and thrived around other people.
Diego is survived by his parents, Grandmother, aunts, uncles and a large extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cipriano Silva, Maria Teresa Franco, and Francisco Salinas.

Rosary will be held at 4 pm, followed by visitation from 5-8 on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W 16th Street in Greeley. Christian Mass will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 21, 2023 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Greeley.

I was shocked and so very saddened to hear of Diego´s passing.
Our boys went to school together for years. So many school memories include Diego.
From school projects to field trips and end of year field days. Diego always energetic, enthusiastic and having a great time.
My heart breaks for you all. I am so sorry this has happened.
May God provide you comfort and peace in the days to come.
