Born in Dehra Dun, India, Dinesh immigrated to the United States in 1980 settling in Philadelphia, PA. He was a resident of West Philadelphia, PA and Warminster, PA before moving to Warwick Township, PA in 1993. Dinesh was the beloved son of Tota and Rukmani Gairola.
Dinesh was a gentle and kind man who brought a sense of calm reflection to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by patience, compassion, and strong spiritual faith. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him. Dinesh is survived by his loving spouse, Pushpa Gairola, his children, Shashank and Sweta Gairola, his son-in-law, William Hardesty, his step grandchildren, Ethan and Elena Hardesty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dinesh was preceded in death by his siblings, Chitra Krishna Gairola, Pran Gairola, Vijay Krishna Gairola, and Kamla Gairola.
After graduating from Agra University with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, Dinesh embarked to Germany where he resided for nearly 12 years working as a technical draftsman for various engineering and manufacturing companies. He later returned to India where he met and married his spouse, Pushpa Gairola, and later settled in Philadelphia PA and the surrounding suburbs to raise his family.
Outside of work, Dinesh found joy in learning and discussing world history and geography. He enjoyed exploring new locations and had a passion for food, especially sweets. He spent quality time with his children, fostering in them a love of soccer, chess, and world travels. Those who knew Dinesh will remember him for his calm attitude and his joyful laugh at life's simple moments.
The family will receive their family and friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 11:00-11:45 am. Puja service and eulogy will begin at 11:45 am – 12:45 pm with cremation to follow. For those that may want to participate in a light lunch afterwards, please join the family at their home in Warwick, PA at 2PM (1014 Princeton Place, Warwick, PA 18974).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to The Elephant Sanctuary, PO Box 393, Hohenwald, TN 38462 or https://www.elephants.com. This honors Dinesh's love for animals and his code of "live and let live."
