Dionysia "Sia" G. Psyhogios, age 87, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away at home surrounded by family on May 27, 2022. Born in Molai, Greece on June 4, 1934, she immigrated to the US in 1961 where she met and married her husband of 60 years, George V. Psyhogios. She and her husband owned and operated the Souvlaki Palace II for over 20 years on The Ohio State University campus and was a proud member of Daughters of Penelope and Philoptochos for many years. Dionysia is preceded in death by parents, Panayioti and Stamatiki Bouzounis and brother, Theodoros Bouzounis. She is survived by children, Bill (Jacqueline) Psyhogios, Sophia Psyhogios (Paul Hobart) and Matina (George) Tornick; grandchildren, Katherine and Stephen Psyhogios, Dionysia Hobart, Niki and George Tornick; sisters, Panayiota Grammatikakis and Vikki Strangas; brothers, John and Chris Bouzounis; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family extends their appreciation to the entire OhioHealth Hospice Team for their care and support, as well as additional caregivers throughout the years. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 2 from 5-8 PM with Trisagion Service at 7:30 PM at O.R. Woodyard Northwest Chapel, 2990 Bethel Rd. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 3 at 10:30 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High St. Interment at Union Cemetery. Family suggests donations in Dionysia's memory be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
