Domenic J. Bozzi

DOMENIC J.(AKA Dom, Sonny) BOZZI, age 88, from Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. Devoted husband to the late Ann (nee Favuzzi). Loving father to Michael J. Bozzi (Dana LaBella) and Michele Bradley (George). Beloved grandfather to Jordan Bozzi, Alec Bozzi, Jacquelyn Bradley, DO (Jagan Pisharath), and Kristen Firmenich (Samuel). Cherished great-grandfather to Nathan Pisharath, Theo Pisharath, and Kayla Firmenich. Dear brother to the late Frank Bozzi (the late Maryanne), the late Ann Bozzi, and the late Vincent Bozzi (Susanne).
Dom, was raised by his parents Jimmy and Clara, in Providence, RI and later Philadelphia, PA. He was always a hard worker and put his all in everything he did. His career path took him into John Hancock insurance sales, then promoted to General Agent and lastly an Insurance Broker of his own firm, Insurance Solutions Concepts. He took "early" retirement at 78 years old. When he wasn't working, he always found a project around the house or in the yard. Besides living in RI and PA, once married, he then lived in NJ, NY and finally resided back in PA. No matter where he lived, parties and picnics were always a part of his favorite pastimes, as well as spending time with family in Ocean City NJ, going out to dinner, seeing shows on Broadway, taking road trips in his Winnebago, but most of all listening to his favorite music from the 40's. He even had his own JukeBox. While he was always very conservative, others in need always motivated his heart to help in any way he could. Dom loved to mentor people and it brought him great joy to see them succeed. Even as a young adult, Dom had a strong faith and spent time in God's word as well as God's house. Anyone who knew him as Dom or Sonny, knew his great sense of humor. He could entertain a group for hours on end. What a great joy it was for anyone who got to know him.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 9:00AM until 10:45AM at Louis A. DiGiacomo Inc., Funeral Home, 1055 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116, followed by services 11:30 AM at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment Newtown Cemetery, 600 Newtown Yardley Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
