It is with a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Dominga Servantes, our dearly beloved sister, and a cherished member of our family. Born on August 4, 1946, in Taft, Texas, Dominga was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience who left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to be touched by her spirit. She departed from this world on November 10, 2023, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family.
Dominga was the cornerstone of her family, a woman of character who lived her life with grace and humility. Though she never married or held formal employment, she found purpose and fulfillment in taking care of her family, weaving bonds of love that held them together in times of joy and sorrow. Dominga's heart held a special place for each of her loved ones, and she treated everyone she met with warmth and respect. Her joy was infectious, her laughter, a melody that will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Marcelina Servantes, and her siblings Margarita Valdez, Felipa Garcia, Maria Servantes, Florencita Servantes, and Jose Servantes.
Dominga is survived by her loving siblings Cathy (Ray) Rorick, Petra Serrano, Guadalupe Valdez, Jane Guerrero, Tomasa Maldonado, Esteban Servantes, Valentina Servantes, Elva Servantes, Teresa Servantes, Christobal Servantes, and Patricia Servantes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
