Donald "Don" Richard Bogusky, aged 72, passed away on February 28, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Genevieve "Dolly" (DeRaimondo) Bogusky, with whom he shared a remarkable journey of nearly 54 years in holy matrimony, having exchanged vows on September 25, 1970.
Born in Easton, Don was the adored son of Joseph and Katherine (Foulk) Bogusky. He pursued his education at Wilson High School, Easton, and went on to lead a fulfilling life as an automobile mechanic, inventor, technical specialist, and champion of integrity and truth. Don owned and operated Integrity Auto. He started his own company, Program Products, helping special needs children and their families. Later in his career, he contributed two decades of dedicated service to Bosch Rexroth. After he retired, he played a foundational role in the Election Integrity Project Taskforce.
Don's unwavering faith and commitment to God were evident in his activities and contributions to CrossWay Church. He found solace, strength, and purpose in his spiritual journey, leaving an enduring legacy of faith for those who knew him.
When reflecting on his life, Don shared, "I have tried to be cheerful and helpful to people and to leave them feeling better than when we met - sometimes using humor to do so." His warm spirit, kind heart, and sense of humor endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Don is survived by his loving wife, Dolly, and their two sons residing in San José, California: Dondi Angelo (Ravisha) and Joseph Daniel (Lam). He leaves behind his cherished grandson Kiran David with whom he had many deeply spiritual conversations.
Don is also survived by his sister, who was a caretaker for Don from an early age, Heddy Ann Vymazal (Paul); brother, James Bogusky (Kathleen); sister-in-law, Mary; and nieces and nephews, Brian, Christopher, Jedd, Nikki, Kristy, and Michael. He was preceded in death by his two sons, David Thomas and infant Andrew, and two brothers, Ronald Foulk (Judy) and Joseph H. Bogusky (Joyce).
We thank him for the many, many blessings he gave to his family and the love that he surrounded us with everyday. We will miss him and love him forever. A celebration of Don's life will take place on Monday, March 11, at 11:00 am, at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA. The interment service will follow at Viewpoint Cemetery, Centre Twp. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Sunday, March 10, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, and on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, we are asking friends, family, and anyone whose life was touched by him to consider contributing to the fund at https://gofund.me/abadd659. Online condolences and memories can be shared at www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com.
As we bid a temporary farewell to our beloved Don until we meet again, let us find comfort in the knowledge that he has found eternal rest with no more pain in the arms of his Heavenly Father. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a source of strength and inspiration.

Thank You Lord God Jesus, for memories that bring joy in the mist of sorrow. As I remember Don, my soul reaches for the gracious times we encountered laughter. Don was quick witted, being responsive almost instantly, to any situation.Filling the moments with a truth that often brought laughter. I remember a time of great need of my mom. Don was not only quick to respond but willing to invest in my moms´ life. Always without looking for a return of any kind. Just being a servant of God. Today as his memory fills the silent air, I pray that those he left behind, would remember his thoughtful instruction, his heartfelt advice and his example of reaching out with help one can provide. Thank you Jesus for the memory of Don Bogusky, may others move forward with his Godly counsel, hiss wisdom from you and his love for others in Jesus name I pray.

I miss Don every time I walk out my front door, I always looked forward to talking with him as he sat in his recliner in his front yard. We talked a lot about the state of our country, and about his fervent support for election integrity and his hopes for a leader who could reverse the downward slide we were in. He had faith in the country and was a strong Christian who worked hard to make the world a better place for all to live.

Brother, I miss you. I still can´t take your number off my favorites list. I wish you were here to see the fruit of your labor in saving our country, it is truly amazing. But I know you´re up there with a smile looking down and telling us not to get lazy. Good thing we´ll have eternity, because there´s a lot to catch up on.

Don was a great brother to my husband, Joe and a wonderful brother-in-law to me. Joe and I enjoyed Christmas dinners with his family. Other times, we would meet Don for lunch at Wegmans. Don and Joe always laughed. Don called often when he was out of town and visited us when he was home. The love they felt for each other was awesome to watch. They never hung up the phone or left each other company without saying, "I love you." Now they are together again in the loving presence of their God.

Such wonderful memories with Don and my sister July 2023.
Don continues in our hearts and mind to be the amazing person. He demonstrated through his time with us. Truly `The memory of the just is blessed´ Proverbs 10:7´. That is where Don remains. We remember his life and celebrate his legacy as he remains in Christ.

I worked with Don at Rexroth in the Field Service Department for many years. He was a very talented and dedicated individual. A great happy-go-lucky guy to share the many years with. He will be missed but not forgotten. Rest in peace Don. God Bless you and your family.

Don has been an incredible influence on my life. From my first interaction at a steel mill to my last conversation when he called to let me know the cancer was back. He influenced everyone he met, not only by what he said, but what he did. He told me early on "You will never regret doing the right thing" I reflect on that often with all the challenges we face today. I miss hearing his voice, his reflections and recommendations. He was/is a GREAT MAN!.
