Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He graduated from Waggener High School, where he was a state champion wrestler. He was an avid golfer and passed the love of golf on to his children.
He loved the outdoors and would frequently garden and take trips to the parks. Donald never met a stranger that he didn't like and would help anyone without them even having to ask. He made the best of times better and had a smile that would shine through the darkest of days. Donald loved animals and had many pets through the years. He passed that love of pets on to his children as well. He was also in a bowling league with the Louisville Ski Club on and off for years.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jeanette Hall, his brother Rick and his stepson, Ethan.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jonie Hall, his children; Stephanie (Scott), Evan (Ashley), Ian and his grandson, Ashton and his brothers; Ronald and Greg Hall.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues with a memory sharing service at 7:30 PM.

I will always remember Don´s quiet confidence as he walked through the halls of Waggener High School. He earned a state championship, but he never displayed any ego despite all of his successes as a wrestler. He was a good person through and through.
