Jesse Thomas Bloom passed away on November 8th, 2025 at the age of 20. He was born in Louisville on June 20th, 2005 to Robert Bloom Jr. and Jennifer Bloom. He attended St. Raphael for elementary and middle school and graduated from Seneca High School.
Known for his bouncy, curly hair and distinct style, Jesse loved skateboarding, playing guitar, video games, being active outdoors, and collecting vinyl records. He was passionate about supporting local bands and frequently attended shows around Louisville. He could teach himself any song on electric guitar and worked on songs of his own. He was friends with everyone; no one was a stranger to him. He couldn't go anywhere without running into a friend. Anyone who knew him admired how he was free-spirited, fearless, and a daredevil. He was always the silliest person in the room and effortlessly funny. Most of all, he had the biggest heart. He was infinitely loving and kind to all life, even little field mice and insects.
His bright spirit lives on in all who knew him. As his friends say, to know Jesse was to love Jesse.
Jesse was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Robert Bloom Sr. He is survived by his parents, Rob and Jennifer; his sisters, Samantha, Sarah, and Savannah; his brother, Joshua; his paternal grandmother Joyce Bloom; his maternal grandmother Barbara Fischer; and maternal grandfather Gary Tewmey, his other family and his countless friends.
Visitation will held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 3-7 PM at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues. A private funeral service and interment will be held at a later date.
