Donald Frank Lutz, Jr., 64, of Villa Rica, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1961, the son of Patricia Luise Chappell Lutz and the late Donald Frank Lutz, Sr.
Donald was a loving and supportive father to his sons. He dedicated his time to the South Paulding Spartans High School Band, where he became a valuable member of the "Pit Crew." Donald had a profound love for Japanese culture, which enriched his life and offered a unique perspective that he shared with those around him. He was an amazing cook, often cooking for his family and friends He also loved being outdoors, particularly camping with the Boy Scouts. He was a passionate sports fan of the Virginia Tech Hokies, and his enthusiasm for his team was infectious.
In addition to his mother, Patricia, he is survived by his sons, Jonas Lutz (Laurel) of Okinawa, Japan and Aaron Lutz of Villa Rica; sister, Valerie Anne McDavid of West Virginia; brother, Gregory Lutz (Laura Langford) of Mountain View, California; grand-daughter, Lillian Lutz; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a celebration of life service at a later date.
