Mr. Tilley is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sharon Duncan Tilley; two daughters, Wendy Tilley Stocking (Greg) of Stem, Paula Floyd (Frank) of Durham; bonus daughter Dawn Tilley of Creedmoor, one brother, Ronald Tilley of Rougemont; five grandchildren, Amos Tilley (Jenna), Dillon Floyd, Savannah Williams (Michael), Dale Floyd, Joshua Stocking; four great grandchildren, Emma Williams, Colton Tilley, Jaxton Williams, Geneva Williams.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the Gorman Baptist Church with the Pastor Craig Phelps officiating. Burial will follow at the Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-7:30PM Friday, Brooks & White Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Amos Tilley, Savannah Williams, Dillon Floyd and Joshua Stocking, Dale Floyd, Michael Williams and Jenna Tilley
Memorials may be made to Gorman Baptist Church, Parkinson Foundation, Duke Hospice or the Esophageal Cancer Research.
