Donna Marie Bell

Donna Marie Bell entered eternal rest on Tuesday December 16, 2025, at the age of 75. She was born on October 26,1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Allen and Winifert Bell. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1969, and earned an Associate of Business degree from Delgado Community College in 1976, later deciding to serve in the United States Army. Donna retired in 2005 as Lead secretary at LSU Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Jereline, Janet, and Janice Bell; and brothers Fred, Kerry, and Minor-Lee Bell. Donna is survived by her sisters Barbara and Brenda Bell, twin sister Dolores Brown, brother J. D. Bell, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Relatives and friends of the family also Employees and residents of River Garden Housing Community, LSU Medical Center, The VA Hospital, and Audubon Retirement Village are invited to Celebrate Donna's life on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Estelle J. Wilson Funeral Home, Inc. 2715 Danneel Street, New Orleans, LA 70113. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by services at 10:00 a.m. Elder Betty Lumar of Beacon Light International Cathedral officiating. Interment: Providence Memorial Park Cemetery, 8200 Airline Dr. Metairie, La. 70003.
