Michael Joseph Brown

Michael Joseph Brown departed this earthly home peacefully on Sunday December 21, 2025. He was 63 years old, and born on February 28, 1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Michael was a graduate of Jesuit High School, Class of 1980. He also attended Tulane University and SUNO. He was the son of the late Gilbert Louis Brown Sr. and Elaine Robertson Brown. Michael was the Loving Father of his only daughter, Mi'Osha Michelle Brown Hoard (John). He was the beloved Grandfather of Blake, Orlando "Brody", McKenzie, Blair, Mi'Lani J., Maci, Bailey, and Bentley. Michael was the beloved Ex-Husband of Orlando James. He was the brother of Randee Brown Sanders (Kevin), the late Ernest Anthony "Buster" Brown Jr. and the late Gilbert "Gillie" L. Brown, Jr. He's also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of A1 Absolute Best Care, and RTA, are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service for Michael Joseph Brown, at Estelle J.
