Fred Barber Jr.

Fred Barber, Jr. entered eternal rest on January 5, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the second child of Fred Barber, Sr. and his loving mother Barbara Barber and he was educated in the Orleans Parish School System. Fred leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother Barbara Barber, his wife Juanita Barber, children Fred Barber III, and Terrance Elijah Barber, his bonus daughter, Juanyla Peters, two brothers Leroy (Donna) Barber and Gregory Barber, two sisters Terri (Gregory) Davis and LaRonda Butler, 6 Grandchildren; one Goddaughter, Arianne Warner and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Barber Sr., his sister, Shaunna Burrell, and his niece, Jamira Butler. Fred Barber Jr. will be remembered always and forever in the hearts of those who loved him. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026, for 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1922 Poland Avenue, New Orleans, La. 70117. Visitation from 9:00 a.m., until 10:00 a.m. service time. Rev. Derrick Beaulieu officiating. Interment: Private.
