Donna J. Kline

Donna J. Kline, 78, of York, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on February 2, 1947, in Patton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Angeline (Ozzio) Welsko. Donna worked for many years as a teacher's assistant at St. Rose of Lima School, where she was known for her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit with the children she served.
On May 4, 1968, Donna married the love of her life, James Kline. Together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and service. She was a devoted wife, a proud mother of two children, and a deeply loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
For 45 years, Donna was a faithful member of St. Rose of Lima Church in York, PA. She was actively involved in parish life, serving on the church council, participating in the Altar Rosary Society, and ministering as a Eucharistic Minister. Her quiet strength, generosity, and devotion to her faith touched many lives.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ann Louise Hugney; and her brother, John Welsko. She is survived by her husband, James; her sister, Margie Bashore; her son, Philip Kline, and his wife, Dawn; her daughter, Jamie Olphin, and her husband, Matthew; her grandchildren, Zachary, Cameron, and Parker Kline, Hannah Olphin, Kylie Gulan, and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Church, 950 W. Market St., from 10:00 to 11:00, with the rite of Christian Burial immediately following. The interment will be private at the Holy Saviour Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of Lima School.
