Donna Jean Marsack passed away peacefully October 2, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born September 4, 1951, in Rochester, New York, to John and Virginia Terborg. John was a Korean war veteran and a fireman.
After graduating college, she joined the Peace Corp and spent 3 years in Togo West Africa teaching health and nutrition in native French.
Upon her return, she met and married her soulmate of 45 years, Charley.
She spent her career working with special need students in the Macomb Intermediate School District.
Donna enjoyed long walks, baking, hosting gatherings, and sharing her special gifts of love and compassion with her family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to meet her.
She was always the one to bring separations together, order and calm to chaos, peace to tumult, clarity to controversy, and forge inseparable bonds.
Donna was adored by most, and loved by all, and the world is a worse place with her passing.
She is survived by her loving husband Charley, children Charles (Angela) and Kelly, numerous in-laws, and special friends, and 3 siblings in New York.
Visitation for Donna will take place Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 4-8pm. Funeral service Friday, October 7, 2022, viewing at 9am until time of service, 10am, at Chas. Verheyden, Inc., 43300 Garfield Rd, Clinton Township. Procession to White Chapel Cemetery for a committal prayer to follow.
