Taylor Funeral Home of Gibson announces the death and funeral services of Mrs. Donna Mae Landrum Pearson, age 76, of GA Hwy 171, North Gibson, who died Tuesday morning September 10, 2024, at the Mt. Pleasant Alternative Care Home in Thomson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, September 12, 2024, in the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, Gibson. Mr. Billy Ray Usry will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Blakely Porter, Colby Johnson, Parker Rabun, Chandler Rabun, Garrett Rabun, and Tripp Pearson. Burial will be in the Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson.
Ms. Pearson was a native of Gibson, a daughter of the late Jake Landrum and Christine Chalker Landrum. She worked many years with the Warren County Board of Education in several positions, lastly working data entry and was a member of Thomson Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, always putting her family first.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Irvin Landrum, Bobby Jean Landrum, J. C. Landrum, and Barry Landrum and is survived by daughter, Tina Rabun of Birmingham, AL; Son, Johnny Pearson (Belinda) of Gibson; brothers: Wayne Landrum (Carol) of Gibson and Denny Landrum (Linda) of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren: Blakely Porter (Kala), Kristen Lyons (Dylan), Colby Johnson, Madeline Watkins (Lyle), Parker Rabun, Chandler Rabun, Tripp Pearson, and Garrett Rabun. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
The Pearson family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the funeral home.
Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Gibson is in charge of arrangements.
