Donovan A. Harvey

Donovan Anthony Harvey, late of Oceanside, NY, passed away on Friday, January 13th, 2023, following a lengthy battle with Diabetes and its resulting side effects.
Donovan was born in Kingston, Jamaica W. I. on March 3rd, 1959, to Curlene and Kaestner Harvey who both predeceased him.
Donovan is survived by his wife Arlene, sister Deborah, brother-in-law Thilo, brother George, sister-in-law Christine, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He was educated at Providence Primary School, Jamaica W.I., and later graduated from Dewitt Clinton High School, Bronx NY. Donovan was always ambitious and from a very young age had a deep interest in and was passionate about cars, dancing, music, and food. He turned his love of these into businesses: a car repair and tire shop, Jamaican restaurants and deejaying boat rides, and other celebratory events.
Donovan had a good sense of humor; he was, at times, mischievous and had a strong appreciation for comedies. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
His farewell service will take place on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Pelham Funeral Home, located at 64 Lincoln Avenue, Pelham NY 10803.
