Dora Negrete Obituary
Dora was born in Bunker, Missouri on November 14, 1952 to Hallie and Coy Lee. 17 years later she married the love of her life Arthur M Negrete. Dora had a passion for beauty and attended Stewart's beauty school in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In 1991, Dora expanded her knowledge and took on a new role of market research editor working in Downtown Kansas City.
In Dora's free time she enjoyed spending time with her family which included days filled with shopping, food and fun. She was an avid lover of the outdoors- happiest with the wind in her hair and the soft sound of wind chimes drifting around her. Nature brought her a special kind of peace, and she carried that calm, gentle joy everywhere she went.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents; Coy and Hallie Lee, Sister Louise Reeves as well as numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Dora leaves behind her devoted Husband Arthur Negrete of the home, Daughter Christina (BG) Liberty, Missouri, Daughter Shona (Jason) Admire, Kansas, Son Art II (Kim) Richmond, Missouri, Sisters: Marie Hewitt of Arlington, Minnesota, Glenda Yowell of Abilene, Kansas, Geneva Adams of Council Grove, Kansas as well as 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many cousins and close friends as well as her pride and joy her dog Button.
Her legacy is one of love, strength and whole hearted devotion to her family. Dora will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
