Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great- grandmother, Dorcas "Dottie" Eleanor Schneider passed away Tuesday, August 19th at the age of 90 years.

Dottie was born in Silver City, New Mexico October 23, 1934. Her family returned home to Lone Grove, Texas when she was six years old. Dottie and her brothers enjoyed the small community life and the one room schoolhouse. From Austin, Dottie moved to Fredericksburg. Dottie married Britton Schneider in 1959 and found her home for the next sixty-eight years. She continued to work as a hair stylist for forty-five years, owning her own salon for thirty years. Dottie was an active member of Holy Ghost Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association, Billie Boosters, and PTA.

Dottie was an outgoing person. She loved to cook, sew, garden, play golf, dance, and occasionally challenge you to a card game or a game of 42. Our Mom, Grandma, Grandma Dottie loved her family dearly and continually demonstrated strength, faith, determination, encouragement, and love to each of us.
