Doris Gault Obituary

A long-time resident of Sarasota, Doris attended Sarasota High School, and worked as an accountant for Ringling Brothers. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an avid fan of Civil War History. Doris was also a long-time member and officer in the Players Theater. In her spare time Doris loved to travel, watching baseball, and jewelry making.
Preceded in death by her parents, Doris is survived by her sister Gloria Gault McCloskey, brother-in-law Captain Bill McCloskey, nieces Gail Lorraine & Gaylen Gault, and nephew Terry Rexroat. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9th, with a celebration of her life at 7:00 pm, all at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 6903 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.
Private interment will take place in Sarasota Memorial Park.
