Public viewing for Ms. Doris McWilliams will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home, 886 North Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel, 886 North Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi. Her Final Resting Place will be at City Wood Memorial Cemetery, Highway 18, Jackson, Mississippi.
Doris McWilliams was born on January 29, 1967 to Lettie Ann and James McWilliams. She gained her wings on July 18, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She lived a life full of laughter with her daughter, Wendy S. McWilliams and her grandkids, Meshun S. North and Erin C. North. She also enjoyed talking with her son, Carl McWilliams, who resides in Hurst, Texas. She enjoyed her line of work as a Line Leader for Traditions Food, where she worked for many years.
She spent most of her day shopping and talking on the phone with her family and friends. She also enjoy gardening with her daughter. From her late night talks and midnight snacks, her bright smile and feisty style, will be missed by all. Her bright smile and laughter will never fade. As she transition from this life to the next, her beautiful soul is one that will never be forgotten.
Doris McWilliams loving memories will live on in her children: Wendy S. McWilliams and Carl McWilliams; her grandchildren: Meshun S. North and Erin C. North; her siblings: Jennie M. Johnson, James " Pee-wee" McWilliams, Frankie McWilliams, Peggy J. McWilliams, Marcus McWilliams, Billie McWilliams, Wanda Lawrence, Paulette Richardson and Melissa Battles; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
