(July 24, 2025 – Age 85)
Doris Marie Nerat, age 85, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2025. She was born to Edward and Marie Mitchell, a cherished sister to Delores (Pete) Cauley, Rita (Garry) Smith, and Don (Judy) Mitchell, and her husband, Kenneth, all of whom preceded her in death.
Doris is lovingly remembered by her son, Jeff (Lisa) Nerat; her beloved aunt, Elizabeth Mitchell; sister-in-law, Margaret Rabion; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She will also be missed by her family at the Cloisters, who she enjoyed playing cards with and visiting on a daily basis. She also leaves behind other extended family and a community of friends who will miss her warmth and kindness.
Doris worked at Allen Bradley (Rockwell Automation) until her retirement. In the years that followed, she enjoyed being a ticket taker at Miller Park, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. Her time at the ballpark was a cherished part of her life, as was her unwavering dedication to St. Augustine Church, where she volunteered faithfully.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 5571 S. Marilyn St., Milwaukee, WI 53221, beginning at 9:30 AM, with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris's name to St. Charles Borromeo Church for masses.
