Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Vicki Compton Jenkins; two grandchildren, Jimmy D. and wife Donna L. Elkins, and John R. Elkins; five grandchildren, Austin, Jake, Reghan, John, James; sister, Faye Potter; and a host of family that loved her dearly.
Dorothy worked for B.F. Goodrich for over 45 years before retiring. She was a faithful member of First Baptist of Mesquite and volunteered at Sharing Life in Mesquite, Texas for 18 years. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
