Dorothy Bagwell Darke, “Dot”, age 96, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.

Celebration of Life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18,  2024 at First Baptist Church, Clarksville with Dr. Ronny Raines officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Dorothy entered this life on January 31, 1928, in Allensville, KY to the late Pleasant and Martha Bagwell. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from Trane after more than 35 years of dedicated employment. Her ministry was serving and loving others, taking care of family and always putting others before herself. “1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl Darke, son, Robert Carl “Skip” Darke, Jr., son-in-law, Ted Winn, and sisters, Robbie Mae Luter, and Nora Burgett.

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Darke Winn; grandchildren, Jason (Shery) Winn and Jacob (Beth) Winn, and great-grandchildren, Weston, Branson, Davis, and Lilly Claire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Find Us Faithful.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
