Dorothy K. Palladino, 78, of Mickleton, NJ passed away on September 18, 2025.

Born in Woodbury, NJ, "Dot" grew up in Wenonah and was a graduate of Woodbury High School. After attending Farleigh Dickinson University, she was employed as a teacher when she met and married her husband of 55 years, Joseph Palladino. Quickly realizing her heart belonged at home with family, Dorothy delighted in raising her 3 children: first in Mickleton and then in Ocean City, NJ.

A faithful follower of Jesus, Dottie was devoted to her church community, caring for others and helping to found a Calvary Chapel church ministry with her husband during her time living in Ocean City. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Norway, visiting her ancestral roots and the town her family was from. A constant encourager, Grammy adored her 7 grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to hug, kiss and cheer each one on, in-person or virtually. Whether with her family, church family or her numerous meetups with Woodbury High School classmates, Dot's joy in life was to love and be with others.

Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Thelma (Spilleth) Bassler and brothers Thomas and David Bassler, she is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph F. Palladino; her loving children, Chris Palladino and his wife Melissa, Mark Palladino and his wife Noelle, and Lauren Snee and her husband Chad; 7 cherished grandchildren, Stella, Eli and Jude Palladino, Dominic and Gemma Palladino and Caden and Calla Snee; special niece and nephew, Kim Reinhold (Dan) and Kenny Bassler. Dorothy is also survived by her extended family members and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm, followed by interment at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Harvest Crusade https://harvest.org/support-crusades/ in honor of Dot's commitment to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
