Mrs. Raines was born in Pensacola, Florida to Leslie F. and Genevieve Paris Floyd. She retired from Pactiv Corporation with twenty-five years of service. She was a dedicated member of Woodridge Baptist Church and their Food Pantry. Mrs. Dorothy enjoyed traveling to the mountains and going on cruises, but she especially loved time spent with her family, friends, and church.Left to cherish her memory are her children: Terri Sligh (the late Ronnie) and Ken Raines, both of North Augusta, SC; sisters, Joan Pearson and Jeannette McGuigan, four grandchildren, Tina Teolis (Jason), Chris Sligh (Mary), Jacob Sevier, and Christian Ball, and eight great-grandchildren.
